ANTHONY GOODE
Piano and Organ
Anthony Goode was born in London and began his musical education with piano lessons close to the home he grew up in aged 7. His musical education continued into secondary education where he made a successful application to a music school in which the tuition was incorporated into the weekly school schedule in Pimlico. All the tuition was free and he received keyboard instruction from the Royal Academy of Music scholar Laura O'Gorman. This led to acceptance at the Royal College of Music and scholarship award. Whilst there he became interested in Harpsichord and Organ and began tuition on them there with Robert Woolley. After winning the Richard 3rd Prize there and became in great demand as a Keyboard player he was offered a place to study with the famous Harpsichordist Bob van Asperen at Conservertorium van Amsterdam and Organ with Jaques van Oortmerson. After 3 years he returned home and is now a busy Church Organist, Continuo player and pianist.
